LET'S BEGIN THE IMMIGRATION PROCESS

What do you need to apply?

The application for a student visa in Canada is done online through the official website of the Immigration Department. Some Canada study visa applications are made on paper, but this is not recommended. In any case, they ask you to meet these requirements to study in Canada:

  • Legal and valid passport. 2 passport size photos.
  • Proof of funds: 917 *CAD for each month you study in Canada.
  • Acceptance letter issued by an accredited school (DLI) to process the Canadian study visa.
  • Letter where you explain your motivations to study in Canada.
  • To process a Canadian visa for students and study in Montreal or another city in Quebec, certificate of acceptance (CAQ).
  • Other documents according to your nationality.
  • Biometric data.
  • Proof of payment of visa in Canada: 150 CAD*.

*Prices are for reference and may vary.

Steps to process the student visa in Canada:

Before processing the Canadian study visa, make sure you have your acceptance letter, your passport up to date and proof of funds at hand. Then, follow these steps to create an IRCC profile and upload a READABLE copy of all required documents.

  • Pay attention! Create an IRCC account to pay the corresponding fees, make your application and check the status of the application.
  • Get a scanner or a good camera to make digital copies of documents and have a debit or credit card handy.
  • Read the instruction guide. It is not mandatory to process the Canadian student visa, but it is useful to know how to fill out the forms without errors.
  • Answer a few questions so that the tool generates a personalized list of documents that allows you to verify that you have all the requirements.
  • Take into account the fees that must be paid. That is, the cost of the student visa in Canada and, in most cases, the biometric data.
